It requires great passion and drive to ensure Smirnoff strategy/projects are internally considered and executed as a priority even when they are not part of the IMC’s current business heart (whisky). This role needs to build amazing relationships with key stakeholders to understand local needs and marry them with Mexico/ Global strategy/ fulfil them with accurate investment. We only have one shot to execute this project at perfection and hit our ambition. Succeeding on this project will become substantial to achieve our performance ambition in F20. Purpose of Role:  Lead Mexico?s Smirnoff business to become the voice of the new LPA generation, beating our business case targets recruiting at scale by boosting our brand equity through brilliant strategy deployment & growth drivers execution while developing and growing the talent of an interdisciplinary team – role’s success will be a key enabler for Diageo Mexico to become a multicategory business thus to achieve our 5yr ambition. Key Outputs:  Beat total Smirnoff Trademark business plan figures through high reinvestment rate driving brand/ category reappraisal dialing up brand equity building momentum by: ? Leading the execution of year-round project’s TTL, leading the way in terms of brand comms with scale and efficiencies across all consumer touchpoints in a competitive environment that will include ATL platforms as well as On Trade, Out Trade and Off Trade Programme Management + influencers + internal motivation programme to Diageo employees to boost internal engagement ? Designing, owning and brilliantly executing Trademark Game Plan and Commercial Strategy ensuring the most disruptive, holistic, efficient and scalable programs to deliver positive financial figures. Guarantee all activities are fully DMC compliant, as well as following CARM/COBC ? Portfolio Management to plan and develop growth drivers to recruit into different price segments and occasions – ensure Innovation strategy is in service of brand strategy and support to bring it to life at pace ? Stakeholder Management to keep multifunctional team aligned and strongly motivated (GBT, Innovation, Sales, global & local Agencies, Supply, Finance) Qualifications and Experience Required: ? At least 6 years of Marketing Experience in a second/third BM rotation within spirits with proven success track record, clear Project Management Skills and flawless execution capability to deliver outstanding communicational platforms through brand portfolio as well as brand experiences on highly competitive environments with restricted budgets. ? Business Centric. Proven experience developing holistic brand programs that drive short term positive results in terms of Brand Image / Consumption. ? Strong Creative Flair to develop ATL and BTL growth drivers to recruit new consumers into the different variants – penetrative consumer understanding to identify key issues and consumer-insight driven solutions/opps to drive growth. ? Breakthrough thinker and focused on Finding Solutions (thinking in the future, anticipating trends and opps, generating ideas and moving them into action) ? Strong Emotional Energy – self-motivated, proactive initiative and follow-through skills. ? Curious, entrepreneurial and flexible. Positive and continuous interaction with gbt, internal partners and agencies (Advertising, Media, PR & events) with solid communication and proven influencing skills. Strong drive in pursue of objectives. Commercial experience is a plus.
